Tsuto: Against the Goblins, Round 04

Tsuto could not believe his luck. The sheriff and his cronies left Sandpoint, leaving the town's defenses in the hands of incompetent misfits. With Lloyd injured and barely conscious, Turrowben and his fae friends had no idea about the gaps in Sandpoint's defenses.

Rounding up some goblins, Tsuto snuck back and tortured Lonjiku. The old man was unable to defend himself. Tsuto took great pleasure watching the old man suffer.

"I was in town since yesterday and you didn't even notice me," Tsuto answered arrogantly as the woodman's blade missed him. "Sheriff Belor would be disappointed."

Jarek swung his blade again and Tsuto easily evaded his attack. "I don't even know why you bother defending these fools," he added. "They all dispise you. You and your father."

"No," Jarek retorted as he took a step back, shaking off the flames in his badly burnt armor. "They hate you even more."

Tsuto closed in at the woodsman and proceeded to throw a series of punches and kicks. "You don't have to be with these fools, Jarek." The half elf grinned as one of his punches grazed his opponent's arm. "People like us walk a darker path. A path I know you often considered."

Despite the pain, Jarek stared at the half-elf. For a brief moment, the woodman's face became pale and uncertain. Tsuto smiled, knowing that his words had struck some sense into the young man.

"I can help you along this path, Jarek. She can help you."
