The party slowly makes their way towards the alley. Arao starts to give out instructions to the rest.
“Jarek and Guy, try to get good angle for your shots. I think those crates and barrels would provide good cover. Guy, try to heal the wounded man as soon as possible.
“Lloyd, I need you to move in and engage goblin commando when the goblin minions are down.
“Gryffin, try to hurl that force orb into the fray, if the minions and the commando converge.
“Everyone ready?” Arao looks around his companions who give him a nod.
“Ack!”
Suddenly, a crossbow bolt comes shooting off from the direction of the rain barrels in the alley. There is likewise a shout in goblin that alerts the other.
“So much for having the element of surprise then…”

OOC: I've used up healing surges to bring up characters back to their original levels.
Hit points after the goblin's turn are:
Lloyd 26
Guy 22
Gryffin 22
Jarek 26
Arao 21
OOC: Lloyd, holds off his action as he is guarding the supposed range attackers of the party. Guy please proceed with your action.
@lloyd: not quite what i had in mind. i hoped he would go to a forward position so that if any melee would go past him, he would have atk-of-opportunity...
@goblin sharpshooter: wala bng penalty sa range yan? sobrang lau na yan ah...
TEKA , wala bng surprise round? kala ko unnoticed kami. wahehe

Lloyd plans to do such after he find out what Guy plans to do. He is afterall assigned to cover both Guy and Jarek.

Oh, i did give it a -2.
Goblin's attack roll: 1@1d20+2-2+9
= [15,2,-2,9]=(24)
Goblin's Damage roll: [1,4]=(5)
[3]=(3)
TEKA , wala bng surprise round? kala ko unnoticed kami. wahehe
Actualy I did check for surprise. Each of the gobilns have +1 perception which is almost lower or equal to most of the party's stealth skill... expect for one member - Arao.
potek +9 ??!?! sabi ko na nga paragon level na ito. level 18!! /omg we r all totally screwed. =(
tapos yun commando epic level 25. may ulti, omnislash. sure hit na 400 pts of dmg each sa lahat ng kalaban. wahehe /gg-ness.
OOC: Sounds like nag-pa-panic na yung leader ng group. He he.
pede reload game from last save point. bka mag-fumble yun sharpshooter wahehe
max hasn't submitted his action narrative yet? he's already thought of sumthin. also the comments widget is out of order, can any1 fix it? (or is it just my firefox?)
i have submitted my entry via email
question: do we have to take down the dog first before we can get to its rider, or can we target the rider directly with melee attacks even if the dog takes up 4 squares?

under mounted combat, its the attacker who decides on who he gets to target. unless the rider or mount has a special power to counter that.
