Lloyd: Into the Jaws of Darkness, Round 03

Lloyd sees the dragonborn fall under the assault of the sinspawn. He risks a glance back at his companions to see if they noticed.

The party’s leader is down! The party’s morale cannot fall with him!

Taking advantage of the fumble of the creature before him, the fighter brings about his longsword in a wide arc. With a shout, he manages to chop off the head of the wounded creature and stabs straight into the body of the one climbing the tunnel wall. The maneuver causes the sinspans to give pause, allowing the sandpoint guard to step beside the body of his fallen companion.

“Get up paladin!” The warlord shouts; hoping to bring the dragonborn out of his unconsciousness, the half-elf as he gives a slight kick at the prone form beside him.

“This is no time to quit! We need everyone up if we’re to get out of this alive.”

Lloyd gives the dragonborn’s body another kick, harder this time which eventually rewards him with a groan.

Though still dazed and weakened, the paladin manages to stand up beside the warlord.

“You kick like a girl!” The dragonborn managed to coughed out as he got up into a prone position.

"Glad to have you back." Lloyd gave a short chuckle. He then turns back towards the party.

"Guy!" The warlord shouts at the eladrin cleric. "Arao's still down. Either you do something to fix him up or you need stand your ground and cover that flank!"
