i am guessing gryffs light spell should cancel the darkness? arcana check ..

OOC: Actually, it seems it's erylium's darkness spell which cancelled Gryfiin's spell. So, technically there's no spell in effect. It's all plain natural darkness.
OOC: The dazed effect doesn't require saving throws but will last until the end of Erylium's next turn.
