Arao: Jaws of Darkness; Epilogue

I shut my eyes at the sight of the guard's mangled corpse and whispered a short prayer to Pelor to guide his soul into eternal slumber. While Guy was casting his ritual spell, I conferred with Lloyd for a moment.

"How many guards you said were missing? Is this Andriak?" asked I. "I'm sorry, I'm not very good at remembering faces."

Before the warlord could respond, I patted him on the shoulder and reassured him. "If there is someone else missing, we'll continue the search. Don't worry, we'll leave no man behind."

I then approached our mumbling ranger. "Pardon me for the interruption..." I was taken aback by some form of dark stare the ranger gave me. "...er, of your soliloquy, but do you see any other tracks leading further into the tunnel?"

Lloyd also mentioned about this. The party was just to go find the missing guard.

And they have found him (well what remains of him).

The party is of no obligation to continue on with the tunnel exploration. Lloyd is just worried that with the appearance of the Sinspawns, there might be something else that threatens the town.
