Lloyd: Goblin Pyros, Round 02

Lloyd shakes off the remaining ale from his armor and clothes. He’s actually glad of Gryffin’s help. He could always count on his friend.

He gave the eladrin one more nod before he cocked his head towards the curtains separating the storage room from the main store room. The half-elf carefully made his way thru the curtains, taking time to peek and check what’s happening in the other room.

The far end of the shop was on fire. Goblin bodies littered the shop floor. There’s a dark cloud in the middle of the room, within which his half-elven eyes could barely make out the form of a sole old goblin.

The goblin’s attention seemed to be focused on the front door where Arao stood. That was the exact time the old goblin raised and fired some sort of arcane spell from a rod that it was wielding. Lloyd took the chance to attack the warchanter.

The warlord picked up his pace and prepared to run thru the cloud and attack the goblin spell caster. From within the cloud, however, a goblin cutter jumped out of hiding and stabbed the surprised warlord. Lloyd only had time to look at the creature that attack it and the crude knife which is now sticking into his stomach before he collapsed unto the store floor, his blood pooling beneath him.
