Both goblins were shouting at each other. Their harsh words colliding with one another as the smaller of the two seemed to be agitated of sorts. The old and taller one, however, shouted something which seems to have cowed the other goblin.
Then they are disturbed by a new presence in the room. Even covered by the vexing cloud, the goblins seem to be unaffected and could readily see the new comer as a thin pale skin. It came close to them with a long sword brandished in front of it and it was speaking to them.
The older of the two goblins seemed to be listening to it. Appearing as if it could understand what the eladrin was saying and giving it some thought. When the new comer has finished its dialogue, the old goblin paused for a while. And then grinned, laughed a very throaty laugh. It then shouted something in goblin back at the eladrin sounding much like a threat and then barked something to its companion.
The smaller goblin seemed to be delighted of what he heard and pulled out his dog slicer once more and stabbed the body of the half-elf in front of it.

Guy seemed to be pleased that it has gotten the goblin warchanter’s attention. The creature looked as if it was listening and could understand what he was saying.
There was a look of someone who was thinking on the creature and that brought hope.
Then the warchanter smiles a toothless grin and shouted back at him. Fools. The message was something guy felt more from the tone than direct translation. Before he could react, the old goblin barked something to its companion.
The cloud made if difficult but guy could see the glint of metal and assumed that a weapon was being raised. The eladrin quickly muttered a spell hoping that he could fire a lance of faith before the goblin attacked him.
The attack never came as the goblin plunged the knife into something just in front of him. Guy squinted to make sense of what is happening and realized that there was a body at the goblin’s feet. The cleric finished the spell and
even thru the haze of the cloud managed to catch the goblin, sending the creature against the store wall.
But it was too late. The short sword has found it target – the now unmoving body of his new companion, the half-elf Lloyd.
