Lyrie / Tsuto: The Chapel, Round 01

Lyrie gives an annoyed look at the intruders as the disrupted her from her studies. Several parchments with writings in a long forgotten language littered the lone wooden table near the temple’s altar. The cat familiar’s fur bristled as it screeched a warning to its mistress. The dark-skinned skinned wizard grimly pulled out a wand from one of the numerous pouches located in her belt and pointed it towards the group of people gathered by the side door.

Suddenly one of the intruders - a half-elf, ran towards her. She was unprepared for the savagery of the attack. Her attacker's two swords managed to cut deep into her shoulder whoch was now bleeding pretty badly.

“You shall pay for that!” Lyrie spat out.

She then spoke an arcane word and a booming sound erupted from the wizard and rushed towards Lloyd. The force of the attack threw the half-elf back towards the doorway of the temple.

The female wizard then brought up her wand and uttered another arcane word. This time a ball of electrical energy burst forth from the tip of her wand and towards the group.

It exploded in the middle of the party. Gryffin and Rhonna managed to evade the attack but Orik and Guy took the brunt of the arcane assault.

“Well! Well! Who do we have here?” Tsuto laughed as he saw the familiar faces of his townsfolk once more.

“Come to rescue your friend Jarek I presume. Well you’re a little bit late. He’s already with Nualia which means he’ll be ours soon if not already so.”

“But we can’t be having you here disrupting our plans of revenge, could we?”

With that Tsuto pulls back his short bow and releases a couple of arrows towards his nearest target - Lloyd.

The half-elf however seemed to be ready for the attack and quickly brought up both his swords and managed to cut down the arrows as soon as they came near him.

"Not this time Tsuto!" Lloyd shouted. "You may have escaped us once. But I'll make sure that won't happen again!"
