the goblin in front of me seems occupied with the noble dragonborn. i am distraught over the chaos. i looked over at the faint outline of the holy guardian summoned earlier. it just stood there regal but emotionless. i almost willed it to pursue the escaping goblins. or have it approach the goblins making there way towards me. but thought better of it.
i made a step back or two and prayed fervently for corellon's intercession once again. a shaft of divine light solidifies in front of me. cast ::lance of faith::
i commanded it to attack the immediate threat. the goblin sidesteps the lance unscathed.
i was furious. how could i miss so close a target? i was swaying my head at disagreement of the situation. when i take notice of the stack of swords beside me. a weapons stall.
i grab a long sword and gave thanks to corellon.

ReplyDeleteLearning Curve:
ReplyDeleteGuy cast the Guardian in order to help in the fight. It, however, need Guy's own move action to move which Guy's player decided Guy needed better since all his at will actions were ranged attack based.
